(101 mins) In 1987 this film received unanimous acclaim in the Jerusalem Film Festival. It is set in 1970 during the War of Attrition at the Suez Canal. It chronicles the events in the lives of seven Israeli students during the summer following high-school graduation - a summer clouded by their impending induction into the army. The film juxtaposes the tragedy of war with the innocence and idealism of youth.
