Mikhail Strokan is a Ph.D. in Political Science Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania and a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Energy Geopolitics of the Institute for Advanced International Studies in Tashkent. Since the Spring of 2020, Mikhail has been conducting fieldwork in Azerbaijan, Russia, and Central Asia. His current research focuses on energy politics of Eurasian petrostates. His works were published by Routledge and Cambridge University Press.
