Hank is a doctoral student in political science, focusing on political theory, international relations theory, and middle east politics. More specifically, he works at the intersection of queer theory, masculinity, and comparative (“Western” and Shia) political theology. He is particularly interested in U.S. relations with Iraq and Iran; masculinity and religious politics in the U.S., Iraq, and Iran; and the differences between Islamic and Christians conceptions of sovereignty.
This graduate student is available to deliver lectures to your K-12 classroom at no charge. All requests MUST be booked through the Middle East Center Speaker's Bureau.
