Amy Guillotte

Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education Ph.D. Student

Amy is a Ph.D. student at UPenn's Graduate School of Education, in the Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education program. She is interested in issues related to teacher education and the pedagogy and design of teacher education programs in the Middle East, in addition to broader issues of educational policy, culture and education, and language education. Amy has studied and worked in Qatar and Jordan; on a Fulbright fellowship in Jordan she worked as a part-time lecturer in the English Department at the University of Jordan and with an international NGO to support English educators in refugee camp settings. During her master's degree program at UPenn, Amy received a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowship to continue her Arabic language learning. She enjoys engaging with and learning from the amazing and interdisciplinary community of students, faculty, staff, and guests that come together at the Middle East Center.
