Ali AlYousefi is an architecture PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design, where his research interests include the intersection of architecture and literature, and the genres with which architectural theory is written. Ali’s writings on architecture have appeared in publications such as Architectural Research Quarterly, Watad Magazine, Khaleejesque Magazine, and the Arab Times. His first book in Arabic, titled Ahjari, was published in 2021 by the Arab Scientific Publishers.
