On this afternoon, Matar joined us to discuss his critically acclaimed autobiography “The Return,” in conversation with Professor Heather Sharkey and Temple University's Dr. Eileen Ryan. The book centered around Matar’s return to Libya for answers regarding his father’s kidnapping in June of 1996 during the reign of Libya's Muammar el-Qaddafi. It was an exceptional event, and we greatly thank Hisham Matar for the event.
